Timber Bay, June 31-July 12
PAGE ONE
Here are some pictures from our brief stop at Mt. Rushmore on July 1.

Three days in the bus is a long time, but it was fun!

The picture below was taken as we got near to the camp in Timber Bay. Last summer there was a huge forest fire that reduced hundreds of square miles of forest to what you see below! If you don't think that God answers prayers, consider this... the fire got within one half mile of the camp and then a storm suddenly came up and put the fire out!

We arrived at Timber Bay Bible Camp on Friday night, July 2. The campers didn't come until late Sunday afternoon so this gave us time to get oriented to the camp and to finish working on our chapel messages. In the picture below you can see some of the girls working on their messages on Bear lodge. (The Nagels and the Archers stayed in Bear lodge, but the teens stayed in their cabins.)

We also practiced for the ten chapels we would be leading during the week. We were responsible for the messages and the music.

Here is our team! In the upper left are Tom and Donna Cnossen, the missionaries that our church supports. Then there is Alan Buckowing, Bernie Nagel, and Trisha Scholma on the upper left. On the upper right is Steve Slachter, Mike Fisk, Andrew Scholma, and Deb Nagel. On the ground is Nate Archer, Justine Houskamp, Angie Maxey, Renee Kimbrell, Hope Archer, Eric Archer, Sarah Johnson, Brian Good, Heather Sneller, and Brad Kidder.
